In Loving Memory Of

Herold John McDiffitt

Herold John McDiffitt, 54, of Hundred, WV died Saturday, July 6, 2002 in the Sunbridge Nursing Home in Salem, WV after a lengthly battle with Myotonic muscular dystrophy.

He was born January 9, 1948 at Littleton, WV a son of the late Albert and Versa Longwell McDiffitt.

Mr. McDiffitt was disabled all of his adult life from injuries sustained in an automobile accident and from having muscular dystrophy.  He was a protestant by faith.

Surviving are two sons and spouses, Todd and Ronda McDiffitt and Scott and Sally McDiffitt all of Hundred;  one brother and sister-in-law, Wilbert and Mary McDiffitt of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio; five grandchildren, Logan, Raven, Riley, Kaleb, and Luke McDiffitt.

At the request of the deceased there will be no public visitation.  Viewing and funeral services will be private and will be held at the convenience of the family with the Evangelist Steve Stevens officiating.  Interment will follow in the Cunningham Memorial Gardens at Burton.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association, 3300 East Sunrise Drive, Tucson, AZ 85718.
