Junior Kuhn

Junior Arley Kuhn, 73, of Burton, WV died Tuesday, January 15, 2002 at his residence after a long illness.

He was born August 18, 1928 in Hundred a son of the late Arlie and Linnie McDonnell Kuhn.

Mr. Kuhn was a retired meat cutter for Bells Market.  He retired with 35 years of service to the store.  He was a member of the Liming Ridge Church of Christ and a member of the Earl Kiger American Legion Post #120 of Hundred.  He enjoyed farming and spending time with his grandchildren.  He was a United States Army veteran who served during the Korean War.

Surviving are his wife of 41 years, Betty Louise Glover Kuhn; two sons and spouses, Rodney H. Kuhn and Robert H. and Sheila D. Kuhn all of Burton; three brothers, Edward "Sonny" Kuhn of Burton, Perry Kuhn of Littleton and Dale Kuhn of Glover Gap; three sisters, Ruby Postlethwait of Mineral Ridge, Ohio, Jean Yoho of Beloit, Ohio and Patty Sayers of Niles, Ohio; five grandchildren, Elizabeth, Shannon, Dylan, Robert and Brittany Kuhn all of Burton.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by four brothers, Kenneth, Ted, Dexter and Harold Kuhn; three sisters, Wilma Grim, Virginia Yoho and Mary Elizabeth Kuhn.

Friends may call at the Tennant Funeral Home in Hundred, WV from 2-4 and 7-9 PM Thursday.  Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 1:30 PM Friday with the Evangelist Steve Stevens officiating.  Interment will follow in the Cunningham Memorial Gardens at Burton.
