In Loving Memory Of

Rudolph L. Benevento

Rudolph L. Benevento, 88, of Littleton, WV  died Tuesday, November 19, 2002 in the Monongalia General Hospital in Morgantown.

He was born July 10, 1914 at Donora, PA a son of the late Giuseppe Benevento and Emma Murphy Benevento.

Mr. Benevento was a retired union carpenter and a member of the United Brotherhood of Jointers & Carpenters Local #626 of Delaware, a member of the Order of Eastern Star Chapter #337 of Port Gibson, MS, a member of the Washington Lodge #3 AF & AM, Port Gibson, MS, a member of the Earl Kiger American Legion Post #120 of Hundred, and a Catholic by faith.  He was a United States Navy Veteran.

Surviving are his wife, Anna Stellini Benevento; two sons, Adolph Benevento of Egg Harbor, NJ and Larry Benevento of Allentown, PA; four daughters, Florence Wagner of Buffalo, NY, Jean Klingenberg of Egg Harbor, NJ, Julie Shutterly of Belle Vernon, PA and Marletta Salzman of Clearwater, Florida; two brothers, Henry Benevento of Pittsburgh, PA and Art Benevento of Finleyville, PA; eighteen grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his step-mother, Esther Santoro, who was very important in his life as she was the true mother who raised him, his first wife, Jean Benevento, and a brother Andy Benevento.

Friends may call at the Tennant Funeral Home in Hundred from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM Saturday.  Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 1:00 PM Saturday.  Interment will follow in the Anderson-Bethel Cemetery near Littleton where masonic graveside rites will be conducted.
