In Loving Memory Of

Doyle Roberts

Enoch Doyle Roberts, 85, of Hundred, WV died Sunday, March 30, 2003 at his residence. 

He was born November 10, 1917 at Littleton, WV a son of the late William Albert Roberts and Anna Willey Roberts.

In his early life Mr. Roberts worked for the Bethlehem Steel Shipyard in Baltimore, MD.  Later he attended Wheeling Barber College and ran his own barber shop in Hundred known as "Doyle's Barber Shop" for more than 40 years.  He was a member of the Hundred Church of Christ and a United States Navy Veteran.  He was also a member of the Earl Kiger American Legion Post #120 of Hundred.

Surviving are his wife, Elma L. Jobes Roberts; one son and daughter-in-law, James and Maria Roberts of Cameron; one son-in-law, Ernest Myron Kemp of Woodsfield, OH; one granddaughter, Myra Lynn Mayhugh of Woodsfield, OH; two step-grandchildren, Anita Miller of Barberton, OH and Troy Kisner of Columbus, OH; two brothers, Kenneth Roberts of Akron, OH and Edwin Roberts of Littleton; four great-grandchildren and two step-great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a daughter, Benita Kemp; a grandson, Myron Lee Kemp; two half brothers, Orval Otho Roberts and William Forrest Roberts; a sister, Ruby Hoffman and a half sister, Anna Anderson.

Friends may call at the Tennant Funeral Home in Hundred from 2-4 and 7-9 PM Tuesday.  Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 11:00 AM Wednesday with the Evangelist Steve Stevens officiating.  Interment will follow in the Shriver Cemetery near Hundred.
