In Loving Memory Of

James Dixon

James F. Dixon, 76, of Burton, WV died Sunday, February 2, 2003 in the Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown.

He was born February 7, 1926 at Burton, WV  a son of Mattie Booth Dixon, a resident of the Arbors at Fairmont Nursing Facility and the late Virgil Dixon.

Mr. Dixon was a retired Master Tile and Marble Setter and a member of the Bricklayers Local Union #9 of Pittsburgh, PA.  He was a United States Army Veteran of World War II and a United States Marine Veteran of the Korean Conflict.  He was a member of the Earl Kiger American Legion Post # 120 of Hundred and Moose Lodge #461 of Waynesburg, PA.  He was Catholic by faith.

Surviving in addition to his mother are his wife, Florence Rauch Dixon; a daughter, Sharon; two sisters, Emma Lou Dixon and Sara Pontello both of Michigan; two grandchildren.

Friends may call at the Tennant Funeral Home in Hundred, WV from 2-4 and 7-9 PM Tuesday.  Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday in the Harmony Baptist Church in Burton with Rev. Warren Martens officiating.  Interment will follow in the Harmony Cemetery.
