In Loving Memory Of


Margaret S. "Peggy" Copeland, 65, of Wadestown, WV left this earth to meet her savior on Wednesday, July 7, 2004 in the Monongalia General Hospital in Morgantown.

She was born September 14, 1938 at Wadestown, a daughter of the late Howard Price and Ruth Porter Price.

Mrs. Copeland began her working career at Westinghouse in Fairmont and she also worked at the Bank of Wadestown in Fairview. She worked twenty years for the Monongalia County Board of Education and retired as a secretary at Clay-Battelle High School in Blacksville. She was the co-owner of Country Clutter in Wadestown and was well known for her brickhouse candles and brickhouse bears that she made and sold at craft shows and craft fairs. She was a member of the Wadestown United Methodist Church and most recently attended the Truth Assembly Chapel of Wadestown.

She was a loving mother, nanny, sister, and friend to all who knew her. She loved to laugh and had a way of making others laugh as well.

Surviving are two daughers and their husbands, Tami and John Milush, and Margie and Dale Eddy, all of Wadestown; one sister & husband, Pat & Byron Anderson of Paden City, WV; six grandchildren, Nikki Moore, Joshua Temple, Kylie Temple, Megan Temple, Doug Eddy, and William Eddy; several nieces and nephews and a host of friends.

Friends may call at the Tennant Funeral Home in Hundred from 2-4 & 7-9 PM Friday. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 1:00 PM Saturday with the Pastor Tim Brower officiating. Interment will follow in the Wadestown Cemetery.
