OPAL V REBOLD

Opal V. Rebold, 87, of Bula, died Monday, August 25, 2008 in Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown.

She was born January 12, 1921 at Crossroads, a daughter of the late James Lester Simpson and Emma Jane Jones Simpson.

Mrs. Rebold was a homemaker. She formerly worked for the Hotel Morgan as a cook and salad girl. She was a member of the Bula Baptist Church.

Surviving are two sons and spouses, A. Allen Rebold of Bula and Randy and Cheryl Rebold of Morgantown; one daughter and son-in-law, Juanita and Carl Raber, Jr. of Spraggs, PA; seven grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, James Thomas Simpson; and a daughter-in-law, Sarah Rebold.

Friends may call at the Owen-Neely Funeral Home in Blacksville from 6-9 PM Thursday. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 11:00 AM Friday with the Rev. Samuel K. Hibbs, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in the Olive Cemetery at Pentress.
