PHILLIPS Estelle
Phillips, 94, of Hundred, WV died Monday, September 12, 2011 in the New
Martinsville Health Care Center. She
was born December 16, 1916 at Kodol, a daughter of the late Mire L. Park and
Lydia Ellen Willey Park. Estelle
was a homemaker and a baptist by faith. Surviving
are a son and daughter-in-law, Bobby J. and Lorna Zoe Phillips of Hundred; a
foster son, James M. Phillips of Katy; one sister, Lillian Stoneking of
Baltimore, MD; two brothers, LeRoy Park of Weirton and George D. Park of
Earnshaw; two grandchildren, Ben Phillips and his wife Tasha of Hundred and Zoe
Ann Phillips of Arkansas. Mrs.
Phillips was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John Henry Phillips
who died on August 17, 1977; one son, William B. Phillips; two brothers, Dudley
Park and Lewis J. Park; and one sister, Gail Cather. Friends
may call at the Tennant Funeral Home in Hundred from 5-9 PM Wednesday. Funeral
services will be held in the funeral home at 1:00 PM Thursday with the
Evangelist Steve Stevens officiating. Interment will follow in the Yost Cemetery
near Hundred. You
