SAYERS Douglas
Edward Sayers, 49, of Mt. Morris, PA died Thursday, July 19, 2012 on injuries
sustained in a tree cutting accident near his home. He was born
September 5, 1962 in Frankfurt,German, a son of Leora Mae Tennant Corder of
Miracle Run and the late George D. Sayers,Sr. Doug was a
construction worker and a protestant by faith. Surviving
in addition to his mother is his step-father, Delbert Corder of Miracle Run; one
son, Johnathon Sayers of Princeton; one daughter, Brittany Sue Sayers of
Princeton; one brother, Duane K. Sayers of Mt. Morris, PA; one sister, Sharon L.
Smith of Perry, OH; one grandchild; three step-brothers, Danny Corder of
Blacksville, Denny Corder of Daybrook, and Darrell Corder of Mt. Morris, PA; one
step-sister, Dolly Rush of Fairview; and several nieces and nephews. In addition
to his father he was preceded in death by a brother, George D. Sayers, Jr. At the
request of the deceased his body will be cremated. Freinds may
call at the Owen-Neely Funeral Home in Blacksville from 6-8 PM Sunday. A
memorial service will be held at 8:00 PM with the Rev. Samuel K. Hibbs, Jr.
officiating. Inurnment will be held at the convenience of the family.
