In Loving Memory Of

JAMIE ALAN WISE

Jamie Alan Wise, 37, of Crown passed away Tuesday, May 27, 2014. He is the son of Edgar "Joe" Wise and the late Joyce Sine Wise.

He is a graduate of Clay-Battelle High School.

Through out his life he was a hard worker until he had to take a medical retirement. Jamie started working while still in high school at Shop'N Save in Morgantown. He then went on to work as a correction officer for the Marion County Jail until it closed. Jamie then worked for a short time at Gabriel Brothers as a security officer. He then worked at IBA of Morgantown until he was hired at his dream job as a corrections officer at the Hazelton Prison.

Jamie loved shooting guns and spending time with friends and family.

In addition to his father, he is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, JoAnn Wise Taylor and her husband Rev. Randy Taylor. He is also survived by uncles and aunts, Ron and Jane Aldrich, Jack and Vicky Wise of Florida, James and Barbara Wise of South Carolina, Judith "Bird" Sine of Daybrook, Richard Sine of Jakes Run, William and Nancy Carpenter of Fairmont, and William "Jack" and Shirley Horner of Rivesville. Also surviving are his special friends, Chuck and Kelli Deem, Tom and Belinda Varndell, Ritchie and Tara Tennant, Joe and Denise Tennant, and his special God-daughter, Morgan Deem; his cousins and friends Troy and Kerri Carpenter, and his dogs Chewie and Petey, and many other cousins.

He was preceded in death by his mother; paternal grandparents, Kenneth and Flossie Rice Wise; maternal grandparents, Jesse and Marjorie Haught Sine; one uncle Jesse "Pooch" Sine, Jr.; a cousin, Tracey Pownell; and a nephew Corey Taylor.

In keeping with Jamie's wishes he has chosen cremation. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM Friday in the Owen-Neely Funeral Home with Rev. Randy Taylor officiating.
