In Loving Memory Of

PAULINE M. TENNANT

Pauline (Polly) M. Brewer Tennant: We bid so long to "Polly" known to all in the Cassville area and for miles beyond as the witty, mischievous prankster at Tennant's Service Station in Cassville for over 50 years. After giving the dreadful alzheimers a frightful battle it consumed the twinkle in her eyes and she has closed them to worry no more.

She was a member of the Cassville Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxillary and worked diligently for the department for years.

Pauline Tennant, 84, of Cassville, WV died May 5, 2014 at home with her family by her side.

She was born January 7, 1930 in Mooresville, a daughter of the late Elsie Brewer and Goldie Varner Brewer.

Surviving are two sons, Ronnie Tennant of Core and Dave Tennant of Cassville; one daughter, Bonnie Evanoff of Cassville; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; one brother and one sister, several nieces and nephews and a special friend Mike Henderson of Core.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Tennant, one brother, and a granddaughter, Tammy Smith.

The family would like to thank all of the friends and neighbors who have helped in any way with Polly's care, and a special thanks to Shirley Hegedis, Sharon Willard, Mike Henderson for years of his dedication, and granddaughter, Britney Tennant for spending so much of her time helping with such thoughtfulness and love.

At the request of the deceased her body will be cremated.

There will be no visitation or funeral service.

Private inurnment of the cremains will be held at the convenience of the family.

The Owen-Neely Funeral Home in Blacksville is in charge of the arrangements.

You may send condolences to the family at www.tennantfuneralhome.com.
