In Loving Memory Of
Carol Ann Lemley, 79, Wadestown, WV died April 12, 2017 in the Sundale Nursing
Home in Morgantown with her family by her side.
She was born May 18, 1937 in Fairview, a daughter of the late Hobert Saunders
and Dessie Parrish Saunders Norris.
Carol was a homemaker.
Surviving are one son and his wife, Willie B. Lemley, Jr. and Wendy of Daybrook;
two daughters and their spouses, Veronica Godfrey & Ken of Flemington and
Teresa Forquer & Gary of Sun City Center, Florida; one brother and
sister-in-law, George and Rose Saunders of Jakes Run; one sister and her
husband, Mae McClelland and Mickey of Masontown; a son-in-law, Dave Spears of
Miracle Run; nine grandchildren, David Spears, Chris Spears, Holly Simpson,
Ashey Forquer, Whitney Forquer, Zachery Forquer, Brandy Beabue, Joshua Lemley
and Noah Lemley; and several great-grandchildren who were the light of her life
and she considered them to be her babies, those who visited her daily, were
Xavier and Zoe Hardman.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Willie B.
Lemley, who died on September 29, 1997, and one sister, Rosemary Fletcher.
The family would like to thank the staff of Sundale, Pastor Brian Detrick, and
Amedisys Morgantown Hospice.
Friends may call at the Tennant Funeral Home, 2678 Hornet Highway, Hundred, WV
from 5-9 PM Friday. Funeral services will be held in the funeral
home at 11:00 AM Saturday with the Rev. Rose Saunders
officiating. Interment will follow in the Olive Cemetery.
