Betty Lee Shriver, 79, of Hundred, WV died Friday, August 10, 2007 in the New Martinsville Health Care Center in New Martinsville, following a serious illness.
She was born December 22, 1927 at Littleton, WV, a daughter of the late Dorsey Lemley and Hattie Dunnington Lemley.
Betty was a methodist by faith and a former member of the Earl Kiger American Legion Post #120 Ladies Auxillary. She worked at various restaurants in the Hundred and New Martinsville area.
Surviving are two daughters and sons-in-law; Mitzi and Robert Arnold of Barboursville, WV and Vicki and Garth Cecil of Hundred; three grandchildren, Travis Arnold, Toni Bragg, and Joshua Arnold, four great-grandchildren, Alexandrea Arnold, Alexis Bragg, Tyler Arnold, and Brayden Arnold.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Shriver, a son Harold Shriver, Jr (Frankie), a brother, George Lemley, and a sister Evelyn Moore.
At the request of the deceased, there will be no funeral service or visitation. Her body will be cremated. Interment of the cremains will follow at a later date at the convenience of the family in Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens in Morgantown.
