Lucinda C. Kinley, 88, of Sterling Heights, MI, formerly of the Wadestown area, died Monday, October 11, 2010.

She was born November 12, 1921 in Hundred, WV, a daughter of the late Floyd Six and Mary Avaline Kimble Six.

Cindy was a graduate of West Virginia University with an internship at Cincinnati General Hospital in Human Nutrition. She retired from Hutzel Hospital in Detroit, Michigan in 1984. She enjoyed travel and genealogy research for the history book she wrote for the 100th White Family Reunion.

Surviving are two daughters, Emily Catherine Burke and her husband Harry of Lenox Township, MI and Michelle Ann Deets and her husband Doug of Tuscon, Arizona; two grandchildren and their spouses, Angela and Jack King of Warren, Michigan and Bruce Burke of Roseville, Michigan; three great-grandchildren, Emily, Kevin & Kristina King; one brother and sister-in-law, Ralph and Betty Jo Six of Wadestown; and twelve nieces and nephews and several great-nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Samuel Six, Kimble Six, Charles Six, Eric Six, and sisters, Lydia Loesch, Ruth Rolshouse, Mary Jane Wilde, Matilda Warren, and Martha Six.

Friends may call at the Tennant Funeral Home in Hundred from 6-9 PM Sunday. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 11:00 AM Monday with the Rev. Rose Saunders officiating. Interment will follow in the Oak Forest Cemetery near Hundred.
