johanna....sending hugs and prayers....i will always remember your mom and dad and the wonderful times we spent up on the hill with my grandmother and your grandmother and other relatives....take care and know you are in my prayers....
There was never a bigger teaser than Uncle John! You put him and my dad together, look out! He had a plethora of stories, but my most favorite was the story of the oxen and his white shirt! When he told how their stomachs stated rumbling, making the sound, I cried with laughter! I never saw him with out a smile or a joke! He will be missed, but oh the memories he left with us are priceless ! I know he and my dad are in Heaven right now, teasing or playing a joke on someone! My heart is warm knowing they are all together again.❤️
Sending our deepest sympathy. Remembering you in thought and prayer.
I really enjoyed working with him for all those years long ago. A good worker and a great friend. I will truly miss you John.
Our deepest sympathy and love to the family. Always enjoyed talking to John.
My dad Everett Lemasters loved John Junior and talked of him often. He was a wonderful handsome man. RIP. ❤️
Thoughts and prayers Johanna. 🙏🏻❤️
Johanna
So sorry for your loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.
Uncle John was a very special uncle. He was not our uncle by blood, but you would never know it. He treated us all alike. He loved to tease and joke. You never stood under a tree if it had just rained, because his favorite trick was to shake a branch just over your head. We thought he was as handsome as Clark Gable or Roy Rogers. He gave us a good laugh one time, when he put some corn silk under his nose and proclaimed he was Rhett Butler. From the time we were children until we had children of our own, he loved us all including the husbands. If he didn't, he did a good game of faking his affection. He made a baseball bat with and for our youngest son showing him how to put a piece of wood on a lathe. The last time I was with him, he sang hymns all the way to church. I'm sorry I will not be able to attend his funeral to honor him. I will always keep him in a very special spot in my memories of favorite uncles.
