EUGENE KENNETH CLAYPOLE, JR.

Eugene Kenneth Claypole, Jr, 58, of Miracle Run Community, Fairview, WV died Monday, September 5, 2022 at his residence.

He was born May 21, 1964 at Cleveland, Ohio, a son of Eugene K. Claypole and Leota Lorraine Wilson Claypole, of Morgantown.

Eugene had worked as a truck driver.  He was Methodist by faith.

Surviving is his wife, Layonna Nestic Claypole; two sons, Daniel Jones of Shepherdstown, WV and Chris Jones of Rogersville, PA; one daughter, Raina Rush of Wana; one brother, David Claypole of Atlanta, Georgia; two sisters, Deborah Claypole Weaver and Michelle Claypole both of Morgantown; eight nieces and nephews; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Sandra Claypole.

Eugene will be cremated.  A memorial service will be held at a later date.

The Owen-Neely Funeral Home in Blacksville, WV is in charge of arrangements.
