JAMES WILLARD REED

          James Willard Reed, 87, of Lorain, Ohio died Saturday, November 5, 2022 in Mercy Hospital, Lorain, Ohio.

          He was born August 27, 1935 at Hundred, WV, a son of the late Scott Reed and Ola Yost Reed.

          Willard was a retired construction worker.  He was a heavy equipment operator and a member of Local #18, Operating Engineers of Cleveland.  He was a member Ely Mason Lodge #424 of Vermilion, Ohio.  He was Baptist by faith.  Willard was a graduate of Hundred High School.

          Surviving are one daughter and her spouse, Deborah A. Comer and her husband Tom of Vermilion, Ohio; two sisters, Carole Ellen Garrison of Hundred and Doris Reed of California; and one granddaughter, Elizabeth Grace Comer.

          In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Helen June Reed.

          Friends may call at the Tennant Funeral Home, 2678 Hornet Highway, Hundred, WV from 6-8PM on Thursday, November 10, 2022.  Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 11:00 AM Friday with Pastor Jason Morgan officiating.  Interment will follow in Cunningham Memorial Gardens in Burton, WV.
