JENNIFER McCOY
Jennifer Nicole McCoy, 41, of Days Run, died Sunday, January 8, 2023 at her residence following a courageous battle with cancer.
She was born March 13, 1981 at Morgantown, a daughter of Robert Lee Tennant and Karen Calvert Tennant, who both survive of Spraggs, PA.
Jennifer was a business owner who operated a lawn care and landscaping business. She was a member of the Monongalia County Farm Bureau. She was a 1999 graduate of Waynesburg High School.
Surviving in addition to her parents is her husband, Nimrod McCoy, Jr.; two sons, Christian Spears at home, Danny Spears of Swanton, Vermont; one daughter, Destiny Spears of Tulsa, Oklahoma; one brother and his wife, Robert “Bobby” Tennant and his wife Michelle of Spraggs, PA; two step-daughters, Kalila McCoy of Salem and Karissa McCoy of Wadestown; one step-son, Nimrod McCoy, III, at home; a special niece and nephew, Faith and Bobby Tennant Jr.; niece Shaley McConnell; a child that she considered just like a grandson, Hunter Dalton; several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Lee Tennant, Jr. who died as an infant and a nephew, Benjamin McConnell.
Friends may call at the Owen-Neely Funeral Home, 5894 Mason-Dixon Highway, Blacksville, WV from 4:00 to 8:00 PM on Thursday, January 12, 2023. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 11:00 AM Friday with Rev. Freddie Eddy, II officiating. Interment will follow in the Blacksville Cemetery.
