DARRYL “WAYNE” CORDRAY
Darryl “Wayne” Cordray, 58, of Hagans, WV passed away unexpectedly at his home on April 3, 2023.
He was born August 18, 1964, a son of the late Garry L. Cordray and Linda G. (Tichenor) Cordray.
Wayne graduated from MHS and went on to become a highly skilled welder/fabricator at Northco in Morgantown, WV marking his 36th year on March 3rd, 2023.
Wayne enjoyed hunting, fishing, football, hockey, and NASCAR. He loved to be in nature riding his buggy, and spending time with family and friends. He also enjoyed helping his father-in-law, Paul, with processing deer to give to families in need throughout his community.
He is survived by his children, Devin, Breanna, Crystal, John and his wife Sara; partner Tina; grandchildren, Gwen Abi, Alex, Teirra, Destiny, Whitney, and Jayden; siblings, Bernie, Linnie, and Debbie; nephews, Ryan, Derek, and Jacob; and nieces Emily and Kristen.
Preceded in death by his father, Garry L. Cordray and mother, Linda G. Cordray; brother-in-law, Ricky; and son Richard.
Friends may call at the Owen-Neely Funeral Home, 5894 Mason-Dixon Highway, Blacksville, WV from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday, April 7, 2023. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 11:00 AM Saturday with Pastor Issac Harmon officiating. Interment will follow in the Olive Cemetery in Pentress.
