LANETTE McDIFFITT

          Lanette McDiffitt, 61, of Georgetown Community, Cameron, WV died Monday, October 16, 2023 in Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown.

          She was born February 1, 1962 in Wheeling, a daughter of the late Blair Neely and Erma Bissett Mackey and Marvin Earl Mackey.

          Lanette was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

          Surviving is her husband, Sonny McDiffitt; two sons, Sonny Lee McDiffitt of Deep Valley, PA and Skylar Ray McDiffitt or Georgetown; two daughters, Shena Noel McDiffitt of Waynesburg, PA and Samantha Jo McDiffitt of Georgetown; and four grandchildren.

          In addition to her parents and her step-father she was preceded in death by a brother, Marvin Earl Mackey.

          At the request of the deceased her body will be cremated.  There will not be any funeral home visitation or funeral services.

          The Tennant Funeral Home in Hundred, WV is in charge of arrangements.
