CAROLYN SUE NEWHOUSE

          Carolyn Sue Newhouse, 88, of Daybrook, died November 9, 2023 at her residence.

          She was born February 6, 1935, at Daybrook, a daughter of the late William Clyde Moore and Drusie A. Moore.

          Sue worked at many different jobs during her lifetime.  She was best known for being one of the “world’s best cooks”.  She was a member of the Daybrook Church of Christ.

          Surviving are three sons, Gary Gasco of Daybrook, Tom Luzader of Wadestown, and Steve Luzader of McCurdysville; ten grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

          In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edgar Newhouse; brother, Ronnie Moore; one son, Robert A. Luzader, Jr.; and one daughter, Bess Alice Luzader.

          Friends may call at the Owen-Neely Funeral Home, 5894 Mason-Dixon Highway, Blackville, WV from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Tuesday, November 14, 2023.  Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 1:00 PM Wednesday with Pastor Jerry Teter officiating.  Interment will follow in the Daybrook Cemetery.
