JOHN E. TENNANT

          John E. Tennant, 72, of Willington, CT, passed away on Friday, August 30, 2024 at St. Francis Hospital, Hartford, CT.

          He was born October 29, 1951 in Fairmont, to Mary Tennant, but later raised by Norman Tennant.

          John retired from Pratt and Whitney Aircraft with 44 years of service as a machinist. 

          Surviving is his beloved wife of 45 years, Nona (Prentiss) Tennant; three children, Sabrina Warren and her husband Allen, John N. Tennant and his wife Sara, and Matthew Tennant and his wife Erin; four grandchildren, Marcus, Elley, Ian, and Lucas; two siblings, Jimmy Joe Tennant and his wife Kim, and Ladonna (Patti) Bosse and her husband John; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

          A graveside service will be held in the near future at the Park Cemetery on Miracle Run near Blacksville.

          The Tennant Funeral Home in Hundred is in charge of local arrangements.
