JAMES F. STEWART
James Freeman Stewart, 71, of Fairmont, died October 12, 2024 in the Pierpont Nursing Home in Fairmont.
He was born October 24, 1952 at Crossroads, a son of the late Walter Freeman Stewart and Lucille Agnes Barr Stewart.
He was a retired maintenance engineer. His greatest hobbies were looking at and driving antique cars.
Surviving is one sister, Eva Stewart of Orlando, Florida; one brother, Dexter (Phyllis) Stewart of Crossroads, WV, one son, Christopher Freeman Stewart of King George, VA, and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters; Maudie Edith Ord, Mary Rose Currence, and Zelma Ruth Brummage, as well as two brothers; Roy Franklin and Jesse Paul Stewart.
Owen-Neely Funeral Home in Blacksville, WV is in charge of arrangements. At the request of the family there will be a private celebration of life at a later date.
There will be no funeral.
