MARY LOU HAMILL
Mary Lou Hamill, 85, of Daybrook, died Wednesday, October 30, 2024 at her residence.
She was born September 18, 1939 at Rayne Township, PA, a daughter of the late Ernest Houser and Mabel Kinter Houser.
Mrs. Hamill was a homemaker.
Surviving are her children, Karen Getty and her husband Jim or Marion Center, PA, Charles Frederick Hamill, Jr. and his wife Terri of Creekside, PA, David Hamill and his wife Dollie of Spraggs, PA, Terri Luke and her husband Bob of Morgantown, Becky Williamson and her husband Lonnie of Colorado, and Lisa Bennett of Morgantown; eleven grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchilren, and one sister, Sarah “Sally” Roth of Indiana, PA.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles “Fred” Hamill; and siblings, Eleanor Bingston, Donald Houser, Jean Rising, Paul Houser, Charles Houser, and Deloris Evans.
Friends may call at the Owen-Neely Funeral Home, 5894 Mason-Dixon Highway, Blackville, WV from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM on Saturday, November 2, 2024. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 PM with Rev. Freddie Eddy, II officiating. A graveside service will be held at 4:00 PM on Sunday, November 3, 2024 at the Gilgal Cemetery located at Marion Center, PA.
