GARY ALLAN STILES
Gary Allan Stiles, 86, of Blacksville, WV died Thursday, November 7, 2024 in the Morgantown Healthcare Center in Morgantown.
He was born May 15, 1938 at Hundred, WV a son of the late Charles Theodore Stiles and Mary Alice White Stiles.
Gary was retired from Eastern/Peabody Coal Company where he worked as a mine foreman.
Mr. Stiles was a member of the Blacksville United Methodist Church and he was a member of the Waynesburg Masonic Lodge #153. He was a veteran of the United States Navy.
Surviving is his wife, Bertha Jane Tennant Stiles; children, Garra Lynn Shapiro of Clearwater, Florida, Kimi Lea Grojean (Jim) of Sebring Florida, Mary Alice Rush (Jeff) of Blacksville, WV, Lori Ann Allison of Hollywood, Florida, Robin Allyn Stiles of Oakton, Virginia, Crystal Levaughn Stiles of Tallahasse, Florida, and Gary Wayne Stiles of Fairmont, WV; eight grandchildren, Jared Shapiro, Danielle Grojean, Samantha Phillips (Jesse), Zackery Rush (Andrea), Douglas Norton (Mary), Jacob Stiles, Keely Stiles (John), and Levi Stiles; eight great-grandchildren, Jaxon, Evie, Lincoln, Zadie, Teresa, Emily, Abigail, and Lucy; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, William "Bill", Gearld, Wilma, Thelma, and Martha.
Friends may call at the Blacksville United Methodist Church in Blacksville, WV from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Monday, November 11, 2024. Funeral services will be held in the church at 11:00AM Tuesday with the Pastor John Brosky officiating. Interment will follow in the Olive Cemetery at Pentress.
