RICHARD A. TENNANT

          Richard A. Tennant, 85, of Wadestown, WV died Monday, January 6, 2025 at the home of his daughter in Imperial, PA.

          He was born September 20, 1939, at Wadestown, WV a son of the late Haskell Tennant and Vivian Maxine Rinehart Tennant.

          Mr. Tennant was a retired from Eastern Airlines.  He loved playing golf, skiing, and loved NASCAR.  He also greatly loved his dog, Gunner.  He was a member of the former Liming Ridge Church of Christ.

          Surviving is his ex-wife, Carolyn Truver of Clinton, PA; two daughters, Cathy Tennant of Clinton, PA and Deborah Tennant of Imperial, PA; two sisters, Judith Ammons of Wana and Janet Shriver and her husband Gary of Daybrook; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Sonny E. Ammons; and a great-nephew, Cody Lane Shriver.

          Friends may call at the Owen-Neely Funeral Home, 5894 Mason-Dixon Highway, Blacksville, WV from 11:00 to 12:00 Noon on Saturday, January 11, 2025.  Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at Noon with Evangelist Steve Stevens officiating.  Interment will follow in the Tennant Cemetery at Pentress.
