Albert "Bo" Ralph Cowell, 83, of Blacksville, WV died Sunday, March 2, 2008 in the Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown.
He was born June 1, 1924 at Wana, WV a son of the late Arthur Ray & Lona Bernice Lough Cowell.
Bo was co-owner of Cowell's Bula Garage for 37 years. He was a United States Army veteran having served in World War II and a member of the American Legion Post 174 of Dellslow. He was also a member of the Bula Baptist Church.
His favorite pasttime was golfing.
Surviving are his wife, Mildred Sturm Cowell; one daughter & spouse, Patricia C. Clovis and her husband Timothy Clovis of Crossroads; a brother, Thomas Cowell of Greensburg, PA; four grandchildren and spouses, Jeremy Clovis and his wife Wendy of Wana, Chelsa Kolb and her husband Ben of Mannington, Hillary Clovis of Granville and Joshua Clovis of Crossroads; three great-grandchildren, Adia Ryleigh Kolb, Gable Valen Kolb, and Khya Symfany Kolb, all of Mannington; and several nieces and nephews, including a special niece Sandy White.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Carl Cowell, Arthur Cowell, and Hubert Cowell; and his twin sister, Alberta Haught.
Friends may call at the Owen-Neely Funeral Home in Blacksville from 2-4 & 7-9 PM Tuesday. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 11:00 AM Wednesday with the Rev. Samuel K. Hibbs, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in the Olive Cemetery at Pentress.
