ARTHUR ALBERT SPITZNOGLE

          Arthur Albert Spitznogle, 81, of Mt. Morris, PA died Tuesday, May 31, 2022 at his residence.

          He was born April 5, 1941 at Blacksville, WV, a son of the late Edward Elsworth Spitznogle and Louise Jane Mayfield Spitznogle.

          Mr. Spitznogle was a self-employed construction contractor.

          Surviving are his children; Jenny Nicholson, Mary “Peggy” Darnell, Lesa Spitznogle, Eddy Spitznogle, Tammy Mooney, and Lori Beth Rose; one brother, Roy Spitznogle, three sisters, Sharon Roach, Brenda Yeager, and Erma Wellmon; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

          In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Spitznogle; and two brothers, Charles Spitznogle and Tom Spitznogle.

          Friends may call at the Owen-Neely Funeral Home in Blacksville from 5-8 PM on Friday.  Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 11:00 AM Saturday.  Interment will follow in the Cedar Grove Cemetery at Mt. Morris, PA.
