Barbara Lynn Wilt Boles Murray McDougal, wife of Donnie L. McDougal, mother of James Wayne Boles, Yolanda Lynn Larew, and Shannon (Shane) Lee Boles; mother-in-law, of three loving children, Julie Lynn Boles, Minnie Boles and Todd M. Larew; step-mother of Samantha Jo McDougal; grandmother of three cherished grandchildren, Brittany Nicole Larew, Savannah Leighann Boles, and Seth Jameson Boles.
Barbara was born August 16, 1949 at home in Independence, WV the daughter of the late Carl W. Wilt and Ruth Pauline (Huffman) Wilt.
Barbara died July 19, 2004 at her residence after a long grueling battle with cancer. She was a graduate fron Rend Lake College, Ina Illinois and received a diploma in Physiology, English, and Cosmetology. She later returned to West Virginia and attended Morgantown Beauty College. She was last employed by West Virginia University Hospital until her illness.
Other survivors include four sisters, Glenda Zuchowski, and Carol McCloy both of Morgantown, Diane Wilt of Independence, Colleen Adams and her husband Frank of Newburg; two brothers, Carl Jr Wilt and his wife Carla of Benwood, WV and Randy Blake Wilt. She is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, nieces, and many loving friends to numerous to mention.
At the request of the deceased, her body will be cremated. A memorial service will be held at 7:30 PM Thursday, July 22, 2004 in the Owen-Neely Funeral Home in Blacksville with the Pastor Steve Edwards officiating.
