BILLIE JEAN STATLER Billie Jean Statler, 77, of Waynesburg, PA and formerly of Carmichaels, PA died Sunday, August 20, 2023 in the Waynesburg Nursing and Rehab Center. She was born May 6, 1946 at Spraggs, PA, a daughter of the late William D. Rogers and Dorothy Pauline King Rogers. Mrs. Statler formerly worked as a Registration Clerk at Uniontown Hospital for many years. Surviving is one son, Brett W. Statler; one daughter, Bonita D. Hollabaugh; three brothers, Ronald Rogers, Jack Rogers, and James Rogers; two sisters, Beverly Popielzrczyk and Shirley Headley; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Bill Wayne Statler; one sister, Kathy Brown; and a brother who died in infancy; Donald Eugene Rogers. At the request of the deceased her body will be cremated and there will not be any services. The Owen-Neely Funeral Home in Blacksville is in charge of arrangements.
