He was employed by Consol Energy-McElroy Mine for 41 years. “Freddie” was a member of the mine rescue team and the UMWA. His light hearted personality was instrumental in developing life-long friendships. With an arsenal of jokes, David never met a stranger! He was a talented wood worker who gifted those he loved with his handiwork. He donated several beautiful pieces to community organizations for fundraising events. He didn’t do “special orders” and would typically make something once…it didn’t matter how much one begged!
David was a generous, loving soul who had a warm personality and a gift for making those around him laugh.
