EDWARD E WADE

          Edward Elwood Wade, 77, of Littleton, WV died November 17, 2022 of injuries sustained in an automobile accident in Marshall County.

          He was born May 7, 1945 at Laurel Run near Silver Hill, a son of the late Edward H. Wade and Virginia Hartley Wade.

          Mr. Wade was retired from Alliance Steel Company in Ohio and he worked in the steel mills.

          Surviving are two sons and their spouses, Edward E. Wade, Jr. and his wife Elise of Hinton, WV, and John Wade of Salem, Ohio; one step-daughter, Marcy Wade of Littleton; three brothers, Frank Wade of Wheeling, Sam Wade of Silver Hill, and Jerry Wade of Cameron; three sisters, Mary Anderson of Greentown, Ohio, Rose Blake of Moundsville, and Maxine Debolt of Bannen; three grandchildren, Chastane Parry, Shenai Kudlak, and Edward Wade, III; two step-grandchildren, Taylor Gutshall and Christopher Lee Morris; and five great-grandchildren.

          In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Ann Wade; two step-daughters, Amy Christine Wade and Bobbie Jean Wade; two brothers, David Wade and Richard Wade; and a sister, Rebecca Wade; who all died as infants.

          Friends may call at the Tennant Funeral Home, 2678 Hornet Highway, Hundred, WV from 12:00 Noon until the service hour at 1:00 PM on Sunday, November 20, 2022.  Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM with Evangelist Steve Stevens officiating.  Interment will follow in the Rice Ridge Cemetery in Marshall County.
