EVELYN WHARTON

            Evelyn Lee “Tina” Wharton, 72, of Littleton, WV died Wednesday, April 3, 2019 in the United Hospital Center in Bridgeport.

            She was born July 13, 1946 at Fort Dix, NJ, a daughter of the late Stanton Braddock and Edna Powell Braddock.

            Tina formerly worked as a bartender for the Earl Kiger American Legion Post #120 of Hundred.  She was a member of the Earl Kiger American Legion Post #120 of Hundred ladies auxiliary. 

            She formerly attended the Littleton United Methodist Church.

            Surviving is her love, Ronald H. Wharton whom she married on September 24, 1974; four sons, Dan & Denise Braddock, Robert & Carolyn Morris, Frank Morris, William “Bill” & Lisa Wharton; two daughters, Katherine & Charles “Chub” Soles, and Phyllis & Robert Pauly; grandchildren, Kayla Payton, Frank Morris, August Morris, Levi Morris, Hayley Morris, Hayden Morris, Ethan Morris, Brittany Snider, Zachary Braddock, Hunter Goff and Skylar Goff; great-grandchildren, Kylee Morris, Adreawnna Freeman, Aiden & Brantley Morris, Chase Morris, and Rebel Morris; four sisters, Diane & Ron Piazza, Jackie & Don Mattox, LouAnn & Phil LaManna, Emma & Mike Shafer; two brothers, Eugene Braddock, William & Teresa Braddock; numerous nieces and nephews.

            In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her step-mother, Virginia Davis; one brother, Maurice “Bub” Spotts, and one sister, Ginger McCollum.

            Friends may call at the Tennant Funeral Home, 2678 Hornet Highway, Hundred, WV from 6 to 7:00 PM on Saturday, April 6, 2019.  Funeral services will be held at 7:00 PM with Evangelist Steve Stevens officiating.
