EVERETT COOLEY, III
Everett McCleary Cooley, III, 73 of Mt. Morris, PA died Friday, June 30, 2023 in the Mon Health Medical Center in Morgantown.
He was born March 6, 1950 at Morgantown, a son of Dora Mae McCartney Cooley Crigler and the late Everett M. Cooley, II.
Mr. Cooley was a retired coal miner.
Surviving is his wife, Joyce Whitlatch Cooley; one son, William Scott Cooley of Carmichaels, PA; two daughters, Shawnee Lynn Brumley of Kirby and Tracy Ann Statler of Mooresville Road, Core; one brother, Robert Lee Cooley of Hundred; two sisters, Alice Acton of Gerards Fort, PA and Brenda Willard of Days Run; ten grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a son, Chad Cooley; and two brothers, Calvin Cooley and Donald Cooley.
Friends may call at the Owen-Neely Funeral Home in Blacksville from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM on Thursday, July 6, 2023. A memorial service will be held at 7:30 PM in the funeral home with Rev. Freddie Eddy, II officiating. Interment will follow at a later date in the Olive Cemetery at Pentress. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to the funeral home to help with expenses.
