JACQUELYN DIEFFENBAUCH
Jacquelyn “Jackie” Dieffenbauch passed away on July 1, 2023 at her residence.
She was born in Washington, DC, a daughter of the late Francis “Frank” and Thelma Margaret Brooke Shorter.
Jackie was a 1948 graduate of St. Cecilla’s Academy and employed as a secretary at the United States Coast Guard Headquarters.
After her first child, Jackie was a full-time homemaker and dedicated to raising her six children.
She is survived by her six children, Stephanie Curry of Hundred, Wilbur “Pic” and Tina Dieffenbauch of Hundred, Michael Dieffenbauch of Morgantown, Julie and Douglas Phillips of Wileyville, James and Amy Dieffenbauch of Streetsboro, Ohio, and John “Chris” and Pamela Dieffenbauch of Wilmington, NC; thirteen grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Bill Dieffenbauch; and a sister, Jeanne Lorraine Fox.
Friends may call at the Tennant Funeral Home, 2678 Hornet Highway, Hundred, WV from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Monday, July 3, 2023. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 1:00 PM with Evangelist Steve Stevens officiating. Interment will follow in Cunningham Memorial Gardens at Burton.
