JAMES A. FOX
James Albert Fox, 82, of Belington, WV died Thursday, October 14, 2021 in West Virginia Caring Hospice Center in Elkins.
He was born December 16, 1938 at Littleton, WV, a son of the late Albert Fox and Wilda Kirkpatrick Fox.
Jim formerly worked as a pipefitter and a welder and was retired from Bayer Corporation. He was a veteran of the United States Army. Jim’s hobbies included playing music as he was able to play many different instruments, woodworking, and building and creating things.
Surviving is his companion, Theresa Rembold; two sons and their spouses, James Gregory Fox and his wife Connie of Spring City, TN and Eric D. Fox and his wife Ginger of Belington; one daughter, Brenda Corder of Rockhill, SC.; one brother and his wife, Jerry Fox and his wife Kathy of Seymour, TN; one sister, Joyce Butler and her husband Jerry of Brookville, MD; four grandchildren, James G. Fox, Jr., Tayla Jo Thomforde, Cody Hockenberry, and Samantha Nicole Fox; four great-grandchildren, Astaire Thomforde, Adelyn Thomforde, Abel Thomforde, and Asher Thomforde.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Carol Fox, and one sister, Joan Garrison.
Friends may call at the Tennant Funeral Home, 2678 Hornet Highway, Hundred, WV from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Monday, October 18, 2021. A graveside service will be held immediately following the visitation period at Cunningham Memorial Gardens in Burton.
