John M. Cairns, 82, of Roberts Run, Metz, WV died Tuesday, March 18, 2008 at his residence.
He was born October 9, 1925 at Roslyn, PA.
John was a retired employee of the United States Government. He worked as a clerk for the Navy supply depot in Philadelphia, PA.
John is survived by his companion of 30 years, John Meyhoefer, a resident of the Arbors nursing home in Fairmont.
At the request of the deceased, his body was cremated. The ashes will be enterred in the family cemetery plot in Philadelphia, PA at a later date.
The Tennant Funeral Home in Hundred is in charge of arrangements.
