JOHN WAYNE WILLIAMS

          John Wayne Williams, 66, of Cameron, died Thursday, November 9, 2023 at the home of his daughter in Hundred.

          He was born January 28, 1957 at New Martinsville, a son of the late John Henry Williams and Helen Blake Williams.

          John worked as a logger and was a protestant by faith.

          Surviving is one son, Jamie Williams of Cameron; three daughters, Jennifer Britton of Hundred, Leslie Williams of New Martinsville, and Christina Thomas of Hundred; two brothers, Jerry Williams of Cameron and Lonnie Blake of New Martinsville; three sisters, Joann Burley and Judy Hall both of Cameron and Doris Yeater of Florida; eleven grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren.

          In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Royal Williams, Loyal Williams, and Harry Williams; and two sisters, Mary Palmer and Rose Wise.

          Friends may call at the Tennant Funeral Home in Hundred from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Sunday, November 12, 2023.  Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 1:00 PM Monday with Rev. Larry Buckland officiating.  Interment will follow in the Rice Ridge Cemetery near Littleton.
