JOSEPH MARCUS PRENDERGAST

          Joseph Marcus Prendergast, 66, of Grant Town, WV died Friday, February 10, 2023 in J. W. Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown.

          He was born December 13, 1956 at Littleton, WV, a son of the late Archie Prendergast and Virginia Gump Prendergast Hibbs.

          Marcus formerly worked for the Town of Hundred and the Hundred-Littleton PSD.

          Surviving is his wife, Beverly Greathouse Prendergast; two daughters, Candy Adams of Fairmont and Crystel Wade of Grant Town; one brother, Sherrell Prendergast of Hundred; one sister, Dianna Bonegan of Hagerstown, MD; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews.

          He was preceded in death by parents, one brother, Mickiel Prendergast; and one daughter, Tasha Greathouse.

          Friends may call at the Tennant Funeral Home, 2678 Hornet Highway, Hundred, WV from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Monday, February 13, 2023.  Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 11:00 AM Tuesday with Evangelist Steve Stevens officiating.  Interment will follow in the Thomas Cemetery at Ned, PA.
