MARLENE AMMONS
Marlene Mae Ammons, 53, of Charlotte, NC died Thursday, February 13, 2025 at her residence.
She was born April 14, 1971 at Morgantown, a daughter of Buddy Ammons and the late Brenda Joyce Renner Ammons.
Marlene was very kind hearted to everyone she met. She enjoyed country music, fishing, and spending time with her family and friends. She also enjoyed playing basketball in high school and college.
In addition to her father, she is survived by one brother and his wife, Mark Ammons and his wife Judy of Severn, MD.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by a sister, Rebecca Ammons, who died as an infant.
Friends may call at the Owen-Neely Funeral Home, 5894 Mason-Dixon Highway, Blacksville, WV from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Tuesday, February 25, 2025. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday with Rev. Freddie Eddy, II officiating. Interment will follow in the Olive Cemetery at Pentress.
