RALPH H. ANDERSON
Ralph H. “Curly” Anderson, 83, of New Freeport, PA died Wednesday, April 12, 2023 in the Washington Hospital in Washington, PA.
He was born October 6, 1939 at New Freeport, PA, a son of the late Howard Anderson and Lena V. Whipkey Anderson Hennen.
Curly was a retired pipeliner. He was a member of the Laborer’s Local 1058 located in Pittsburgh, PA. He was a protestant by faith.
Surviving is his wife, Kay Montgomery Anderson; one daughter and her spouse, Christine Price and her husband James “Red” of Uniontown, PA; one sister and her spouse, Marcia Sterling and her husband Larry of Holbrook, PA; three grandsons, Bryan Watson of Jefferson, PA, Aaron Watson of Waynesburg, PA, and James “J. W.” Price of Uniontown, PA; and two great-grandchildren, Maverick Watson and Bristol Watson of Jefferson, PA.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Terry Lee Anderson; and siblings, Doyle Whipkey, Helen Reed, Donnie Anderson, Frances Anderson, and Beverly Cumberledge.
Friends may call at the Tennant Funeral Home, 2678 Hornet Highway, Hundred, WV from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday, April 14, 2023. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 11:00 AM Saturday, April 15, 2023, with Pastor Vernon Kay Berdine officiating. Interment will follow in the Thomas Cemetery near Ned, PA.
