RUSSELL LEON TOOTHMAN

          Russell Leon Toothman, 67, of (Miracle Run Community) Fairview, WV died December 6, 2022 in Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown.

          He was born June 19, 1955 in Trenton, New Jersey a son of Frank Toothman and the late Rosina Toothman.

          Mr. Toothman was a retired coal miner and worked as a motor barn mechanic for over 37 years.  He had worked at the Federal #2 Mine on Miracle Run.

          Surviving is his wife, Virginia Mary Ellis Toothman; children, Amy Toothman, James & Deb Toothman, Susan Toothman, David & Brandy Toothman, Donna Toothman, and Joseph Toothman; grandchildren, Kevin & Daniel Gorbey, Cooper Toothman, Lakin Blankley, Austyn & Ethan Foley, and Camden Price.

          In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by one son, William Victor “Will” Toothman; and his grandmother, Julia “Becky” Toothman.

          Friends may call at the Owen-Neely Funeral Home, 5894 Mason-Dixon Highway, Blacksville, WV from 11:00 AM until the 1:00 PM service hour on Saturday, December 10, 2022.  Funeral services will be held at 1:00.  Interment will follow in the Phillips Cemetery near Spraggs, PA.
