VANDA STROSNIDER
Vanda Strosnider, 73 of McMechen, WV died Sunday, July 24, 2022 in Wheeling Hospital.
She was born August 2, 1948 in Marion County, WV, a daughter of the late John Strosnider and Elizabeth Lucille “Libby” Garrison Strosnider.
Miss Strosnider was a retired school teacher. She was a member of the National Road Church of Christ in Wheeling. She was a proud supporter of the Marshall County Back to School Fun Fair.
Surviving is one half-sister, Fay Stanley of Gladewater, TX; one niece and one nephew; three aunts and uncles, Glenda (Jerry) Gross of Waynesville, Ohio; Lillie (Terry) Varner of Moundsville; and Freda Stiles of Wadestown, WV; several cousins including Danna Pritchard and her daughter Rachel; friends, Susie Baker, Cathy West who was her companion and friend, Sandy Huckins, and Adam and Heather Davis and their sons, Elijah, Seth, and Luke; and numerous other friends.
Friends may call at the Jarvis-Williams Funeral Home, 1224 S. Bridge Street, New Martinsville, WV from 6-8 PM on Friday, July 29, 2022. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 11:00 AM Saturday with Evangelist Ryan Parsons of the National Road Church of Christ in Wheeling officiating. Interment will follow in the Anderson-Bethel Cemetery near Littleton, WV.
