Wayne E. Lemley, 82, of Hundred, WV died Friday, Sepember 10, 2004 at his residence.

He was born October 2, 1921 at Burton, WV a son of the late Homer Lemley and Manie Antil Lemley.

Mr. Lemley was a retired welder. He was a member of the Plumber & Steamfitters Local #83 of Wheeling. Mr. Lemley also owned his own welding shop and for 15 years operated a welding school out of his welding shop in Hundred. He was a protestant by faith.

Surviving are his wife of 62 years, Elizabeth Gibbons Lemley; three sons, Carl W. Lemley of Sistersville, John Paul Lemley of Burton and William E. Lemley of Germantown, MD; one brother, Lloyd Lemley of Weirton; one sister, Maxine Loar of New Cumberland, a half-sister, Linda Garrison of Littleton; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a grandson, John Paul Lemley, II.

There will no funeral home visitation. At the request of the deceased funeral services will be private with the Evangelist Dick Bartrug officiating. Services will be held at the convenience of the family.

The Tennant Funeral Home in Hundred is in charge of arrangements.
